Looking At The Sky On Friday

Photobucket

This picture was taken at the main road desert of alkobar saudi arabia. As you can see the trees are bald because of sandstorm but sunny afternoon day. My intention is to capture the camel but I wasn't able to capture because my friend drove too fast. To view more pictures, just click the logo above.

Awesome. I thought it was a beach when I first looked.

that is what is so strange about the desert - the sky should be blue where the sun reigns. But the sand will lift up in the sky and cover the blue with a tan haze. Then disappear...odd skies!

Interesting to see the desert lined with trees.
Maybe you'll capture the camel next time.

Thanks for the clarification about the locale. I thought this a beach scene at first glance. Thanks for dropping by Happily Retired Gal earlier ;--)
Hugs and blessings,

It looks like a beach maybe next time you will get the camel. It's a fine picture anyway. Have you ever rode on a camel?

Amazing to see the leaves torn off by a sandstorm. My skywatch is on my other blog called "Other Stuff"
