Today's Flowers

A close-up of frangipani flowers.

This is a close up picture of frangipani flowers. This was taken in the philippines as there are a lot of this kind back home. It has white and pink colors. I love this color pink frangipani so pretty when close up captured. Flowers of Frangipani come in gorgeous rose-pink color brushed with bronze. Frangipani flowers are highly scented during nights and often used in bouquets. To view more flowers around the world, just click the logo above.

Oh I'm familiar with their scent. It's a component of some of favorite floral perfumes along with tiare and tuberose. How lovely.

A very pretty frangipani, I grow them in my garden and love everything about them. Wonderful decoration for the table as they do not wilt for a day.
Well done.

We call this at home "Kalachuchi" and they are around in this coastal part of Australia but not much on the highland for they favour tropical weather. Nice blog Mimi. Thanks for stopping by.

Believe it all not, Frangipani (Plumeria) is called "Chicken Egg Flower" in Taiwan. I have no idea why. It is also quite widely cultivated as a garden plant.
